Re: how do you know what url to use to get to a site

try this:

1. from a run comand, enter "mmc" without the quotes
2. when the Microsoft Management Console opens.....
3. click on the console tab, and pick "add/remove snap in"
4. when the dialoge box opens.. click "add"
5. when the dialoge box opens.. choose "internet Information Services"
6. hit add
7. hit close
8. hit ok

-- you now can look at the iis stuff
1. hit the plus sign next to "internet information services"
2. hit the plus sign next to the machine name
3. pick the site you need to use, and right click on it
4. choose "browse" and watch a browser open the site up.... that's the url you've been looking for

:)
